AUGUST, 1943: The Russian drive to the West begins sporatically across the front using forces at hand. This is a prelude of things to come on a larger scale.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: Russians must clear building 3M2 fo all German infantry and occupy with one ubroken squad and leader (any type) at games end without losing more that half of the inital infantry points (fractions rounded down). Infantry points: Squad=3; Crew=2; Leader=1; AFVs and their crews have no value towards this total.

SCENARIO SEQUENCE: Eight full game turns; Axis setup first; Russians move first.

GERMAN FORCES: Setup any whole or half hex south of hexrow I inclusive.

TURN FOUR: Enter from the North edge

RUSSIAN FORCES: Force sets up North of hexrow D inclusive. All Vehicles and their riders Enter turn 1 from any North board edge hex(es).

SPECIAL SCENARIO RULES:
SSR 1: The 548s are considered special Anti-Tank Squads. They do not have smoke making capability but may use any DC and FT captured without penalty. Only the 548s may use the Panzerschreck is they are new SW in the field; other units (including Germans) are subject to captured weapon penalties. Leaders man not modify the to panzerschreck hit die rolls. All 548 Close Combat rolls vs AFVs are modified by a -1 drm prior to other modificaitons.
SSR 2: The German radio has not off board module and may only be used for on board units only.
SSR 3: BID FORCE: If a Russian bid force includes a radio, OBA module selection is defined in the first rally phase must be: 4 missions of 80mm, 3 missions of 100mm, 2 missions of 120mm, or 1 mission of 150mm.
