WG100: "Friend or Foe"

This scenario is based on that originally published in ON ALL FRONTS number 25.1 'Battle for Berlin' within an article by Harvey Newcomb III. Clarifications and modification have been made to the original scenario and modified by Bill Thomson. Updated 190213


Potsdam Germany, just outside of Berlin, April 25th, 1945: With the end of the war looming just days away both American and Soviet forces clash as their corresponding commanders seek to claim an important provincial capital and the territory surrounding it for their respective sides.

RULE LIMITATIONS: Use only SQUAD LEADER rule 1-21; 37.4; and 50.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: To win the Soviets must completely occupy two more of the stone buildings initially occupied by the Americans than they lose or their own initial stone building to complete American occupation, OR have a favorable 3:1 ratio (Russian/American) of unbroken squads at game end. To be completely occupied in your favor, no no enemy squad or officer can be in the building at fame end and your forces must have been the last to have occupied any hex of the building with an unbroken units. The Americans win by avoiding the Soviet victory conditions.
