JULY, 1944: Southeast of Grodno, During Soviet Summer Offensive.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: Each calvary squad or leader in the initial force exited off the northern map edge counts as 2 VPs. Each squad, leader, crew and AFV (regardless of status of gun/MG) from the reinforcement group exited off the northern map edge counts as 1 VPs. Axis recieves 5 VPs each for each building hexoccuplied by a non broken squad crew or leader adjacent to the 2GG6 2A6 road and hexes 5R6 and 5I4 at games end. Russians must possesses a higher VP total else the Axis wins.

SCENARIO SEQUENCE:
Six full game turns; Axis setup first; Axis move first.

AXIS FORCES:

AT START: Setup on any whole or half hex (fractions rounded down) of board 2 and/or on board 5 North of row Z inclusive no more then 50% of bid force value. Can contain no vehicles

TURN 4: Enter on any North edge road hex remainder of bid force

RUSSIAN FORCES:

AT START: Enter Turn 1 on any south edge hex

SPECIAL SCENARIO RULES:
SSR 1:All hexes ground level ie no hills. All hill 621 hexes woods hexes at ground level
SSR 2: The Axis player PLC may start on map or be a reinforcement. As it has a cost of O, allocation does not affect
SSR 3: Any hex containing a german counter during setup receives a free concealment counter. No more than one concealment counter per hex. PBEM suggestion; The Axis player should proveide a password protected file for all concealment hex contents. which the Russian can check as needed. If revealed in error, the German receive units identical to those erroneously identified in his next movemement phase.
SSR 4: The Russian halftracks listed historically are not available. However they will be used as is in the scenario force.
SSR 5: BID FORCE: If a German bid force includes a radio, OBA module selection is secretly defined in the first rally phase must be: 4 missions of 80mm, 3 missions of 100mm, 2 missions of 120mm, or 1 mission of 150mm.
SSR 6: BID FORCE: Germans may purchase any type of fortificaton except mines.
CLARIFICATION: Reference 92.5; MGs firing against moving calvary forfeits penetration capability unless the defensive fire is occurring after all emeny movement is completed.
