  Near Carroceto, Central Italy, January
27, 1944: In an attempt to break out of the Anzio Beach
Head, the 4th Ranger Battalion was called on to help the British by attacking
the German flank two miles northeast on Carroceto. At 0600, Companies E and F
moved forward through shallow irrigation ditches to their first objective, a group
of farm buildings turned into a strongpoint by Germans.
VICTORY CONDITIONS: To win, the Americans must have sole
control of four of the following five buildings: 5FF6, 6CC1, 6CC5, 6BB6 and
6EE2. Germans win by preventing an American victory. The Germans control all
buildings at start whether occupied or not. All SMC except snipers may occupy
  building for victory condition purposes.
