  North of Houffalize Belgium, December 
23, 1944: The crossroads at Baraque-de-Fraiture, 
previously neglected, was recognized for its importance by Major A. C. Parker 
III. Acting on his own initiative using what forces he could muster, Parker quickly 
established a defensive position. On December 23, the 2nd Panzer Division tested 
the resolve of those defenders. 
VICTORY CONDITIONS: The German player wins if there are 
  no unbroken U.S. squads within a five hex radius of 5Y10 at game's end. American 
  player Wins by preventing a German victory.

SPECIAL SCENARIO RULES:
  - OAF 66.1.1: TERRAIN: Overlay "I" goes on 
    board 14 normally. Gullies and Bridges do not exist, treat all such hexes 
    as ground level open ground. Roads in these hexes remain in play.
 
  - OAF 66.1.2: WEATHER: Normal ground snow rules are 
    in effect.
 
  - OAF 66.1.3: The Germans received on module 
    of off-board artillery of 81mm with scarce ammunition (107.432).
 
 AFTERMATH: Under a hail of 
murderous point-bland fire, the Americans suffered heavy casualties but managed 
to stave off onslaught after onslaught until finally ordered to abandon the crossroads.
